Rocks and Their Cycle
The Rock Cycle is the cycle that makes rocks transform. They can go from magma to igneous rocks to sediments and a few others too.

The Rock Cycle starts out as magma, or in some cases lava, and changes itself many times. It's amazing that a metamorphic rock you hold in your hand was originally something else! The magma or lava cools and crystallizes and becomes an Igneous rock. Igneous rocks can vary in origin, texture and mineral content. Two examples of very different Igneous rocks are Granite and Basalt.
